and just like that i am angry, to the random guy in the audience complaining about how the Monologues makes men look bad and feel bad, this is not fucking about you. once again a male derails the conversation and makes it about them. you should feel bad! it is your gender that perpetrates these action the most. instead maybe you should wonder why these monologues made you uncomfortable. your fucking feelings are not more important than the collective outrage and pain that brought about these Vagina Monologues in the first place. this is not about you…
done ranting, still fuming. i need to punch something…or to fuck, both are fine…
The Inner Thoughts of A Queer Feminist
"Be the Change you want to see in the world" - Mahatma Ghandi
This quote exemplifies my personal agenda and is essentially my code of life.
My name is Col. I am a female-bodied 18yr old queer, poly, feminist and artist. I am a freshman at the Art Institute of Boston and will be living there for the next year. I hope to become an illustrator and I'm always open for commissions if you want a drawing. My art blog is colsart.tumblr.com so come follow me. Most of my post on this blog or random but most will be related to equality, radical thinking, lgbtq rights, social movements and just being a weird queer grrl. Peace!

tickle my brain

Introducing Feminism: A Graphic Guide by Cathia Jenainati and Judy Groves
It’s a really good for beginner feminist. It lays down all the basic theories and important contributors beginning from the 1550s until the present. I really recommend it.
anywhooo…. Any recommendations for Feminist reads?

I fight like a girl who’s sick
of not being taken seriously.
I fight like a girl who’s been pushed too far.
I fight like a girl who…
